Skin cancer hub
The Skin Cancer Hub is a website developed to promote skin cancer prevention and early diagnosis.
Aimed primarily at professionals in a wide range of settings – health, education, local government etc – the site contains a range of information about:
- evidence about what works in skin cancer prevention
- details of interventions to prevent skin cancer or support early diagnosis
- information on where to go and what to do if you are worried about skin cancer
- best practice guidance for commissioners of skin cancer prevention and early diagnosis services
- details of how social marketing can be used effectively to target skin cancer awareness campaigns
- statistics on skin cancer and its risk factors
The Skin Cancer Hub was developed by the South West Public Health Observatory who have a lead role on skin cancer nationally.
